RCCDC Mission and Goals

The Roosevelt County Community Development Corporation (RCCDC) is a private non-profit organization dedicated to economic and community development in Portales and Roosevelt County, New Mexico.  The RCCDC is a partnership between the City of Portales, Roosevelt County, Eastern New Mexico University, and private industry in the Portales Valley.

Our mission is to protect and enhance the vital and diverse economy of our region through proactive engangement in business expansion and retention and community-oriented marketing to inbound industry.  We also offer professional site selection and analysis services, demographic information, and partnership in capacity development activities such as workforce development, as well as leadership and team participation in community-based projects that serve to enhance the quality and economic growth of the region.

Our primary goals are to create and retain good-paying jobs, particularly in our key industry sectors which include food processing, higher education, professional services, agriculture, alternative energy including wind, solar, and biofuel, and quality retail services.
